The Mornington Peninsula Builders & Industry Charity Golf Challenge - Build a Village.

In support of Global Village Housing.

The mission is to break the poverty cycle and transform the lives of impoverished families and communities in Cambodia. We are incredibly passionate about working with Global Village Housing, assisting families in impoverished areas of Cambodia by building family homes.

We hope you will join us to be part of this unique experience - and we can assure you that this is not just a day about golf! We want like minded people to share a memorable day on one of the Mornington Peninsula’s most spectacular golf courses, and be exposed to world class facilities, soak in the best of the Peninsula and be spoilt with local produce and vino, all while raising money for a great cause!

Living conditions in the remote villages of Cambodia are some of the worst in the world: unsafe, unsanitary and unsure.

We are excited to be partnering with Global Village Housing (GVH) and are committed to raising $250,000 which will enable us to build and gift 50 homes for 50 families, purchase land to build schools, upgrade existing school, provide sanitation and toilets, build water wells and provide other essential items and resources.

We don’t know where this journey is going to end up, 50 homes for sure, but let’s not stop there. We have bigger than Ben Hur ideas with a long term commitment to GVH and the people of Cambodia.

Acceptable items of dress

Tailored shorts may be worn by men or ladies.
Men’s shorts must be above the knee.
Anklet socks are also acceptable.
Slacks must not be worn tucked into socks (unless plus 2’s or plus 4’s).
Golf shoes with soft spikes must be worn on the course and practice areas.

Unacceptable items of dress

Football or sporting type shorts.
Shirts without collars (an exception applies to women’s attire and shirts that are specifically designed for golf).
Denim of any description
Track suit pants/tops or any type of gymnasium attire.
Thongs, sandals, or bare feet.
Draw string pants or shorts.
Caps should not be turned backwards or worn in the clubhouse.
Metal spikes are not permitted.
Please note: Members are at all times responsible for the attire of their guests
